DATE NIGHT!

On Thursday Coby and I went bowling with Trent and his date Laurie and Bryan and Amanda! Bryan works with Trent and Coby and is also on their softball team. We had a BLAST! It was so fun. I forgot my camera, but luckily Amanda is obsessed with her camera and pictures as much as I am so THANK YOU AMANDA! Next week: Games Works, pictures to come! Love that we have date night buddies now!

A Little Update

Just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Gina Madsen!!! Also, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Mom and Dad Alexander!!! Both of these were on Saturday and we hope both had great days!

Also just wanted to let everyone know Coby and I got church callings. Coby teaches Sunday School for the 15-16 year old kids, and I am a Relief Society Teacher! So we both have our work cut out for us, but it will be fun. My first lesson is on Sunday and it's about procrastination. How did they know to give me that topic for my first lesson! Just wanted to give a little update!

Fun Weekend!

This weekend we had a lake day that was lots of fun! Jaron, his friend Joscelyn and Trent came with Coby and me. If you look at the picture of Coby and me, you can see Trent swimming in the background.


Coby's sister Rainy and her little boy moved back to Arizona yesterday and we are so excited to have them back. It will be fun when Nate gets her in a couple weeks. Coby and I haven't seen him since he's gotten back into the country because we were on our honeymoon when he returned. David is 2, but he's already asking Coby to take him on the boat again, so next weekend we might have more lake pictures!

Also my sister Tiffany, moved back down here from Utah yesterday too! So now all we need to do is work on getting Coby's brother Brandt and his family and my sister Heather and her family closer and we'll be set!

Happy Birthday to Grandma Hubbard!!! She turned 81 and we were able to go with Coby's family to her house to celebrate tonight! It was fun to see Courtny and Russ with their kids. We haven't seen them in awhile.

CALIFORNIA

We had so much fun on our Alexander California Trip this year. It seemed to FLY by more than other years though. We had a great time going to the beach everyday, visiting with family, having a family home evening together, and getting our fill on Balboa Bars!

Coby and I went with Heather, Jeff, Chase, and Peyton to Sea World on Tuesday. It was so much fun. We saw 4 shows and they were great! Heather understood why Coby was on the Phoenix Suns Entertainment team because whenever they needed the crowd to participate, he jumped at the chance. If anyone wants to see how to get Shamu to splash, just ask Coby. Chase LOVED the sharks and Peyton loved the manitee's; I think because she had a lot of room to run around. After the kids were pretty tired, Coby and I went on a roller coaster a few times. We had a blast.

My mom puts together a Treasure Hunt every year for the kids. This years was pretty good. It's pretty funny to have all the people on the beach wonder what we're doing. Uncle Tom and Tiffany dressed up as pirates for a couple of the clues. It's fun getting all the kids dressed up and ready to find the treasure. We definitely out did last year. We always have lots of fun! Then after the Treasure Hunt we had Sub sandwiches with everyone on the grass by the beach. Can't wait til next year!

Coby and I are so excited to have a new nephew. Not too fun having Coby's oldest brother Brandt and his wife Gina living on the other side of the country though. We sure miss you guys! Hope all is well and Congratulations.
