REINDEER RUN!

This morning Coby and I went with my mom and Tiffany to do the Reindeer Run our gym put on. It was a 5k where people come dressed up and there is a costume contest after the run. We went all out as the Grinch and Whoos from Whooville. We were determined to give that costume contest some competition until we showed up and only one other family was really dressed up. There were a lot of people with antlers on their heads or hats, but not really any other costumes.

Once again, Coby attracts kids like crazy. He had so many kids coming and saying hi to the Grinch. Some were upset he didn't have green hands or Max the dog with him, but he was a hit. We couldn't walk 2 feet without someone wanting to take a picture with him. It was pretty funny. Coby was a good sport and waved at every little kid, every car, and really played up the Grinch.

Tiffany was the 6th woman to finish the race. WHOO HOO! And she lost all the jingle bells on her skirt while doing it too! Mom wasn't too far back either!

As one of the not too many competitors of the costume contest, we walked away with some nice fleece blankets, grey reindeer run beanies, and a couple nice track jackets! We had lots of fun!

Temple Lights

Tonight we had family home evening at Coby's grandma's. She lives right behind the temple and has a beautiful view. This first picture I took on the way to Family night. Then after, Coby and I decided to walk around and look at the lights. The lights were gorgeous and I loved it! I love the holiday season!

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

Tonight, Coby and I got our first Christmas tree together! My parents went and looked with us. I love looking for Christmas trees. There are trees everywhere and it makes it smell so good! Coby quickly got distracted by some kids wanting him to help them play hide and seek (Coby always seems to be instant best friends with any kids we meet). We had lots of fun and found just the right tree. As soon as we got home I wanted to decorate it and Coby joined right in. Here is are first Christmas tree! I love it! It's officially the holiday season!










Here are my parent's Christmas trees. Can you find all 3?! They are soaking them in the pool for a couple days. It's supposed to help them soak up lots of water and last longer. I am too impatient for that!
