Wouldn't you love to wake up and look out at this from your huge windows every morning! I did! It was so nice up there. Beautiful weather and clean air! It was great!
We first went up on Friday night, stopping in Payson to get some groceries. Chelsee had to turn some kid down who wanted to know if she was over 18 to buy him some cigarettes. Sorry buddy! Then we got to the lodge, got situated, met up to go over the agenda for the next day and the power went out! Thanks to Hector for getting that turned back on for us. Then we hand cake and Orange soda (what was it called???) to celebrate Whitney's birthday! Thanks for coming up and helping us on your big 17 Whitney!!! We brought a bunch of clothes up for the shoot and had the girls bring some of their own because we didn't think we'd have enough. Turns out everyone had super cute clothes so everyone tried each others clothes on until the late hours of the night. Kind of like shopping except you can't buy it!
Saturday started super early with Chelsee starting hair and makeup at 5:30 and we worked until the sun went down. In the morning my contact ripped in half and of course this is the first trip I have ever gone on without my glasses or an extra set of contacts! So I wore it anyway because I needed to see out of the camera, it hurt and everyone thought I was winking at them all day but it still worked.
Here are a few of the hundreds of awesome shots we got!!!
Annie Worsley
Whitney (Birthday girl while we were there)
Chelsea Peterson
Rachel Allen
We dirtied $15 wedding dresses, laughed until we cried, stayed up late talking until midnight (I remember when it was so easy to stay up until early hours of the morning!!!) Kristen Peterson came with us and brought her little baby so we all got turns with cute baby Maddie. Sunday we woke up whenever we wanted, no alarms set and just lounged for a little while before we packed up and came home. It was a short, busy, fun, and tiring trip! Can't wait to hang with you girls again!
