Times Almost Up!

Just wanted to let everyone know that my photography prices and packages will be changing on January 1st! If you schedule your photo shoot before the end of the year,
I will honor the current prices!!!

You're a mean one.... Mr Grinch

This year for my parent's Christmas card, my mom had this idea to use a quote from the Grinch. If any of you know my mom, you know you can't just put a quote from the Grinch on there.... where's the fun?! So we decided months ago to all be people from Whoville and Coby gets to be the Grinch. We watched the movie over and over. I think the card turned out great and it was so fun to put together. Great job Mom!!!

And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,

stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so?"

"It came without ribbons! It came without tags!

It came without packages, boxes or bags!"

And he puzzled and puzzled 'til his puzzler was sore.

Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before!

"Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store."

"Maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!"

On the inside was a regular picture so people could see Coby!

Here is the cutest little who

Hope we all remember why we celebrate this Holiday Season!!!

Holiday Cheer

Does anyone else get REALLY excited when they see one of these driving around? For some reason it just makes if feel like it really is December (even if it is still warm). This always makes me happy for some reason.

It's the most Wonderful time of the year!

Even though I have only worn long sleeves for 2 days (it seems like this year is so much warmer than most!) I have still been listening to Christmas music nonstop since WAY before Thanksgiving. This is my favorite time of year. I love the crisp air (once it cools down), the smells of cinnamon and spice, the decorations, the music... everything! I have been trying to finish all my decorating (and I'm slowly getting closer) and shopping to just enjoy this season. I think I've watched every Christmas movie I own about 5 times each. Some more than others.

I decided to make some of my gifts this year and like usual, the ideas have grown since I've started and they keep getting harder and harder. I have made it so I have quite a bit to do and Christmas is ALMOST HERE!!! I have finished some, but I can't post the pictures until after they have been gifted. (stop thinking... yeah right, you'll never get around to it! It's one of my New Years resolutions remember?!)

We also need to get a Christmas tree! (CHECK) Last year we had the fake tree/real tree talk and Coby I think has folded to the argument and let me win this year without even bringing it up. He has said a couple times how excited he is to go pick out a real tree. Even if the tree is 2 feet tall, there is something special about having that real tree. One year I want to get a permit and cut our own down. Anytime before life flies by; I think that will be so much fun.

More on the list of this years holiday to do list:
-See the temple lights
-possibly zoo lights: we went last year (twice) and it was so fun.
CHECK: -go to Cherry street: SO COOL!
If you live in Arizona and still don't know what this is, let me know.
-CHECK... Thank you Santa! -I am also on the hunt for 2 really cool hot cocoa mugs! ---or this for the man
(possible Christmas idea Santa)
-Decorate some gingerbread houses with some friends
-finish gifts, gifts, and more gifts
-Just Enjoy this time before it's gone!
If anyone wants to do any of this: let me know!!!

Happy Hallowgiving!

Here is my Halloween/Thanksgiving summary!

Halloween was great this year. My niece and nephew were down here (and Heather and Jeff... we love that you guys came too) for the week and it's so much fun to have excited kids to celebrate holidays with. Peyton is one entertaining girl! Never a dull moment. She is so into singing and being center stage we're always laughing. She makes up songs on the spot with actions and everything. Chase likes it because he would rather not be in the spotlight. We didn't dress up (boring!!! one year we'll be cool), but we did carve pumpkins with everyone. Coby's was awesome! Always a crowd favorite!

Halloween pictures! (I'm updating at work... I've got nothing to work with)

Thanksgiving was fun too. We were able to spend time with both families and it ended up working out really well. I didn't take one picture though... not one! We spent the morning with Coby's family on his mom's side. I didn't eat much because I knew we were going to go to my parent's for dinner too and I wouldn't be able to fit it all in. Coby was happy with first... seconds... and thirds at my parents. (there could have been fourths in there... not sure) At my house we ate with my grandparents and Uncle Mark, my parents, Tiffany, and her friend. It was much more quiet, but was a nice dinner to think of all we have to be thankful for.

The next day, we went to have lunch at a park with all of Coby's cousins and family that was in town again. Left over Thanksgiving turkey on sandwiches was super yummy and there was always some type of game going on: football, softball, frisbee... you name it. We had a lot of fun seeing all the Hubbard family.

WE MOVED!

I know, I know... it has been months!!! I have been tagged... multiple times and have ignored EVERY one of them. I have probably been begged, bribed, and threatened to update my blog. (yeah, I know... I still didn't do it) And I have no excuse! None! Can't think of anything. Probably the fact that because I kept putting it off, I was totally overwhelmed with all I needed/wanted to put on here. So I'm just going to skip some stuff and make this one of my many new years resolution. UPDATE... even if I don't have time to get the pictures all on, just write and add pictures later! If that isn't bad enough... I still find myself totally upset when everyone else doesn't update theirs! Totally hypocritical. So here goes nothin':

At the end of September (was that already more than a couple months ago??? yes, I know) we moved!!! Not too far away, but to a much better apartment. I love the area we are in now; I feel more safe, it's more quiet, and the ward is fantastic! I think it's been a great move for us and am happy with how it's been so far.

Moving pictures to come: Hey, it's a start!
