Yesterday was my 24th birthday and it was a good one! Coby's family has a tradition of having "birthday pancakes" for everyone's birthday. So we started out with Coby making me pancakes. (When we got married I was pretty excited to keep this tradition going... and he never made me any pancakes! Well I told how cool I thought it was so now he doesn't forget!)
Then I went shopping with my mom to a favorite store (Anthropologie) and then out to dinner with my family.
So while Coby was here:
we were having fun at dinner then went home and watched 7 lbs. (SAD MOVIE) Coby got home around 10:30 and the movie had only been on for about 15 min. and he kept telling me to stay as long as I wanted and to pretty much not come home cause he was busy.
The night before I told Coby I was so excited to wake up and have the entire house covered with balloons and streamers on the ceiling so thick you couldn't even see the ceiling. Then I told him about the chocolate cake I couldn't wait to have. ( he looked at me like I was nuts) So after the movie I came home and he double bolted me out of the house. So he comes and answers the door and there is a big chocolate cake on the table with candles in it. (It's around 12:30 am.) So he's talking to me and I'm walking to the bedroom to change and all the doors are closed. I thought it was weird so I opened the first door to the office and see this:
He closed all the doors so I wouldn't think it was weird that the office was closed, but I kind of ruined that. He blew ALL of these (over 150 balloons) from AFTER the game to when I got home, and while he was making a cake at the same time! Busy hour and a half!
Then he sang to me while I blew out my candles. I was pretty impressed. It was a good day!

WOW! That is a ton of balloons! He really knows how to pick up and follow through on all the dropped hints - i like it!

I LOVE it!! That is amazing Coby. Nice work. I can not believe you blew up all of those balloons by your self and made a cake in such a short time! I love the picture of Ashley blowing out the candles surrounded in colorful balloons. So cute.
