BEACH TRIP!!!!!!!!!

We got to go on the Alexander family Beach trip a couple weeks ago and had so much fun. I'm already looking forward to next year and always count down the days until we get to go again. We have done this for so long I think everyone gets excited about it.

Sunday is always a relaxing day; we all get rested up for our busy week. Monday we had lots of fun at the beach and then had a great Family Home Evening lesson by Blake. It was great for adults and the kids. Then we had a talent show. Jack made animals out of towels (like they do on a cruise ship), Christian makes cute kids, Avery did a simersalt (if it's not spelled right, sound it out), Nix jumped, my mom read a book, i spun a toothpick on my nose... Thank you Anthony and Natalie. Coby has an awesome talent (Nat, yes he did get it down) but he was sick at home so we will video it and I'll figure out how to get it on here so people will believe he can do it.

Tuesday was beach day again (ok, so everyday is beach day!)

If your kids were throwing sand... I promise it wasn't my husband who taught them. (SORRY!)

We ate dinner at a park and had sandwiches (decorated to prep for what was next) and smores.

Then we had the annual PIRATE TREASURE HUNT!!! This is the highly anticipated event of the week that my mom puts on for the kids every year. Every year it's different and new. I don't know how my mom keeps coming up with different things, but it's so fun.

This year my mom got everyone a mustache for a goofy picture.

All the babies in their onesies I made them for the hunt. We missed little Blake at the treasure hunt (you too Tanner and Britt) I'll get a picture of him in his pirate onesie for Halloween instead.

Back on the Ferry by Balboa

The first time we went to Balboa, Peyton wanted to go on the ferris wheel so bad so she went with Jeff. It was a FAST ferris wheel and we weren't sure if she would like it but she was grinning ear to ear. So of course the second time she had to go again. She wanted to go with Bailey and I was going to go with Coby. We got to the front of the line and Bailey wasn't old enough to take her so I went with her and Bailey got stuck with the strange guy who kept smiling while trying to get in other people's pictures.

She wasn't sad in the first picture she just told me after that we were supposed to make grouchy faces. Oops, missed that one.
