Oh baby boy. I love you so so much. But the thought that you are closer to 1 year old than a newborn is bittersweet. I want you to stay my little baby longer than you are. You are already getting more and more independent and turning into your own little person (who I think is starting to turn into a daddy's boy... NO!)
-B is a pro sitter now, although if he gets bumped by someone he'll probably fall over. - He is starting to be a mimmick and will try and make the face you are making and really concentrates and moves his mouth when you are trying to get him to say something. - Since he was sick a month ago he still hasn't got his great sleeping schedule back-- but it's good. - He eats solids 3 meals a day. - Still LOVES the bath and now is a super splasher. Those arms punch the water real good. - He has super monkey toes. He holds everything with his feet and punches it with his fist, he picks up everything with his feet, and he now will eat his feet. - He punches everything. Hands are always in a fist and they are always swingin'. - Hardly ever cries. - No teeth. - Major jabber mouth. He's always got something to say and we usually think it's pretty darn funny. - He does this thing when he gets excited where he stiffens his whole body and arms and makes a funny face. It's hilarious and it happens often. - still won't take a bottle, but uses a sippy pretty good. - still nursing - 6-12 month clothes, size 4 diapers - Loves to watch other people. - loves to rock before bed. That glider was one of my favorite purchases. - no where near crawling. He wants to stand, not be on his tummy. I think he will crawl late/walk early. He likes to stand up at the table - doesn't like the texture of people food. The little puffs or anything but smooth baby food he doesn't like. - LOVES his vegetables and fruit is getting up there. - and is FINALLY getting some hair!!!
...and then he fell over while sitting up. Oops |
I think this kid is pretty much my favorite little man ever. --maybe a little biased.
